Lawn Disease Control
Should I treat my lawn for disease in the summer?
The grasses commonly used in our area for lawns prefer full sun, mildly warm temperatures, dry air and plenty of air movement. Where we live, we have plenty of shade, blistering hot summer temperatures, humid air and sometimes very little air movement. These factors combine to create a breeding ground for lawn wrecking fungus. Many times fungal disease can be prevented by mowing and watering correctly. Sometimes, this is not possible and treatment is the best option.
Let one of our lawn professionals come visit your lawn and help you decide whether you can prevent lawn disease by tweaking the way you water and mow, or if treatment is the best option.
